How to run a repair installation when using Sage 50cloud Pastel.

Resolution

  1. Hold the Windows key + E to open file explorer.
  2. Go to your local dive/C Drive.
  3. Right click the Pastel/Xpress folder.
  4. Select Rename and rename the folder to Pastelxx/Xpressxx.old. 
    • xx represents the version of Sage 50cloud Pastel you're running
    • For example: Pastel19 or Xpress19
  5. Go to the installation file and double-click on it.
  6. You can go to https://pastelupdate.sagesouthafrica.co.za/ to download the installation if applicable.
  7. Select Next and then click Repair.
  8. Select Next then Install.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. Restart your computer.
